James Weldon Johnson (June 17, 1871 – June 26, 1938) was an American writer and civil rights activist. Best known as the author of the “Negro National Anthem”, he is an 1894 alumnus of Atlanta University.

This signature bag is made of Black Saffiano leather with heat-stamped Clark Atlanta University Branding and stiff tortoiseshell plexiglass handles. She is equipped with a spacious lined compartment, edges in tone-on-tone leather, and gold-toned metalware. The Johnson tote can be carried by hand with the handles or by attaching the strap to the inner hooks. The bag is packaged in our signature drawstring bag and branded shopping tote.
