Named after the first Black woman President of Spelman College, Dr. Johnnetta B. Cole, the signature Johnnetta bag is made of Black Saffiano leather with heat-stamped “SPELMAN est. 1881” and stiff tortoise shell plexiglass handles. She is equipped with a spacious lined compartment, edges in tone-on-tone leather, and gold-toned metalware. The Johnnetta can be carried by hand with the handles or by attaching the strap to the inner hooks. The bag is packaged in our signature drawstring bag and keepsake box.
